Every order is important to us because it is important to you. Flowers are perishable and each design is handmade. We work to ensure quality, accuracy, and beauty in every arrangement and welcome your feedback. If you are not completely satisfied, please contact us promptly and we will make it right.

Delivery Policy

Same Day Delivery: If you order by 1:00 PM Monday to Wednesday, 11:00 AM Thursday to Friday, and 9:00 AM Saturday in the recipient time zone, we can typically deliver the same day within our local area. We are closed on Sundays. For orders going outside our local delivery area, earlier cutoffs may apply.

Specific Times: We are unable to guarantee delivery at a specific time, but we normally deliver within a reasonable window and prioritize time sensitive orders such as funeral services.

Delivery Windows: Business deliveries are generally completed by 5:00 PM. Residential, hotel, and hospital deliveries are generally completed by 6:00 PM.

Funeral Homes: These orders receive the highest priority. If timing is too tight to reach a service, we will contact you with options such as home delivery. We verify viewing times with the funeral home and schedule delivery accordingly. If a banner is not available in time, we will fill to value with additional flowers.

Hospital Deliveries: Please include the patient name and room number when available. Many ICUs restrict flowers and most facilities do not allow latex balloons. We will advise alternatives or deliver after discharge when needed.

Weekend Policy: If Sunday delivery cannot be arranged and time permits, we will schedule for Saturday. Otherwise, we will contact you to confirm Monday delivery.

P.O. Boxes: We cannot deliver to P.O. Boxes or APO addresses.

If No One Is Home: At the driver discretion, we may leave the gift in a safe place or with a neighbor, or leave a notice to reschedule.

Incorrect Addresses: If an address is incorrect and delivery was attempted, a $10 address correction fee may apply. Oliver Flower Shop is not responsible for deliveries made to addresses provided incorrectly by the customer.

Canceling an Order: Same day orders are processed immediately and may not be changeable. To inquire about changes, please call (412) 421-0350.

Recipient Contact: We may contact recipients to ensure successful delivery.

Leave at Door Requests: Customer assumes all liability for requests to leave arrangements unattended.

Recipient Refusal: If the recipient refuses delivery, you may be liable for the cost of the gift.

Card Messages: The message you enter at checkout is the exact message printed on the card. No billing information is included.

Substitution Policy

Fresh Flowers: Availability varies. We maintain the look and feel of the arrangement, substituting equal or greater value stems if needed.

Balloons: Some hospitals restrict latex balloons. We substitute Mylar where appropriate.

Plants: Similar plants of equal or greater value may be substituted. Containers may vary.

Gift Baskets: Items may be substituted with equal or greater value to ensure freshness and timely delivery.

Special Occasions: To meet date requirements such as funerals, birthdays, and anniversaries, substitutions of equal or greater value may be made when specific flowers are unavailable.
